Can I Marry Gay in District of Columbia?

No*

Sad gay couples

Currently gay marriage is illegal in DC. The District of Columbia recognizes gay marriages performed in other states and a bill allowing gay marriage in DC has been voted through the council twice. The bill now needs a signature from the DC mayor and pass a 30 day period of review by the US congress, both likely.
